SkySong Sees Flurry of Leasing Activity

Several New Leases Signed Totaling More Than 40,000 Square Feet

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (September 17, 2025) — SkySong, The ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, continues to demonstrate its strength as a hub for business growth and innovation with a recent flurry of leasing activity across its buildings, totaling nearly 40,000 square feet of new leases and expansions.

Highlights of the transactions include:

—        CV3 has nearly doubled its footprint at SkySong 2, expanding from 1,695 square feet to 3,502 square feet.

—        Experis/Manpower signed a lease for 9,859 square feet at SkySong 2.

—        Medicare Benefits Direct completed two expansions this year in SkySong 3. The company grew in January from 3,714 square feet to 8,648 square feet, and recently expanded again, into a 3,714-square-foot suite, for a total of 12,362 square feet.

—        Optima Medical signed a lease on 13,487 square feet at SkySong 4, and has executed an expansion amendment on an additional 5,401 square feet for a total of 19,848 square feet.

Sharon Harper, Chairman and CEO of Plaza Companies, the master developer of the project, said this leasing activity is yet another sign of SkySong’s resilience in a slowed commercial office environment.

“We are pleased to be continuing the momentum we’re seeing at SkySong,” Harper said. “SkySong is succeeding in attracting tenants that are seeking a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in their office environment, and we’re doing so despite a challenging office real estate market.”

Plaza Companies is the master developer of SkySong, in partnership with University Realty, the City of Scottsdale and Holualoa Companies.

The new leases come on the heels of a large new lease signed recently by the Arizona Builders Alliance for a nearly 21,000-square-foot space in SkySong 1. About 5,300 SF of the space will be utilized as their corporate office, with the balance being used as educational space for the classes the organization offers.

Plaza Companies provides development, financing, construction oversight, leasing renewals and expansions and property management at SkySong. The Coppola Cheney Group of Lee & Associates is SkySong’s leasing broker.
